Who can join the Marine Corps League?

The Marine Corps League is Open to All Honorably discharged or active Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and FMF Chaplains with 90 days or more of service or persons who are serving, or have served in the United States Marine Corps reserve, regardless of national origin, race, or sex.


Are there dues and how much are they?

Yes there are dues.  The yearly amount for being a member at large of the Marine Corps League is $30.00. Dues at the detachment level vary. Santiam Detachment #374 yearly dues are $40.00. You can also opt to become a lifetime member and pay one fee ranging from $200 to $350 depending on the age group that you are in.


What activities do detachment members participate in?

The activities that detachment members get involved with and participate in are determined by the detachment members at regular meetings and social times. Recent activities include but are not limited to support of the Young Marines, support for the Toys for Tots program, support for the Heroes Highway Program, Hero's Half Marathon, Tribute for the Troops, a detachment Color Guard, and the annual Veterans Day Parade in Albany, Oregon.
